SOZO ministry is a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry aimed at getting to the root of things hindering your personal connection with Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit - and possibly with some of your relationships. With those healed, you can walk in the destiny to which you have been called. Our SOZO Ministry follows the Bethel Church SOZO Ministry model used in Redding, CA.

We offer Standard, Educational, Financial & Children's sessions. Please note that we require a Standard session as a foundation before another option can be chosen.

Healing Rooms

The Healing Rooms are open EVERY Saturday from 10:00am to 1pm.
Please arrive by 12:30pm at the latest to ensure that we will have time to pray for you!
Our Healing Room ministry offers a safe, loving place where people can come and receive prayer and healing for physical ailments and afflictions.
We believe it is always God's will to heal, because Jesus healed everyone who
came to Him, and He is our model of God's will and plan.
Acts 10:38: " God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."

Spirit Connection

Spirit Connection is a unique inner healing session for couples or individuals that can bring insight, clarity and healing to problem areas. These sessions are private with the couple or individual and facilitators only. Whether a relationship is on the rocks or you just need a fresh perspective, a Spirit Connection will bring revelation.

These sessions will be offered on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm by appointment with the completion of our application.

Life School

LSSM Night School

Is a discipleship and leadership training center based on the curriculum from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM in Redding, CA).  Our goal is to train and equip the Body of Christ to live the real, abundant life that Jesus spoke of in John 10:10.  It's not enough to go to church - God has called us to BE the church.

LSSM meets one night a week, on Tuesdays, making it feasible for everyone to participate; couples, families and singles who have work or other responsibilities throughout the week.  You will have the opportunity to participate in a dynamic, interactive community setting where students grow in their character, discover their purpose and experience the supernatural life that is in Christ Jesus.

Using the DVD curriculum provided by BSSM, students will have the great opportunity to learn from ministers like Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, and Danny Silk. Live teaching from local ministers is also included.  LSSM embraces a revival culture and trains it's students to live a life of signs, wonders, and miracles in a practical, day to day setting. If you are hungry for more of God, then this school is for you!

Sunday Morning

Pre-Service Prayer
Every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:00am, we host a pre-service prayer meeting in the Upper Room. This is an important time of preparing our hearts in God’s presence, as well as intercession for the service and His people. Anyone is welcome to join us as we worship and pray.

Our greeters make it possible for everyone who walks in to feel like part of the family. Whether handing out bulletins, guiding children to Children's Church, or offering needed assistance, the greeters are an essential part of our team. They are the first faces you see when walking through the door!

Cafe Life
Cafe Life is an essential part of Life Church's Welcome Center. We create all kinds of delicious drinks, from mochas and cappuccinos to hot teas and Italian sodas. Cafe Life is open before service every Sunday.

If it's your first time with us, fill out a Life Touch Card from the church bulletin and turn it in Info Counter to get a free drink coupon!

Hospitality/Fellowship Time
Each Sunday morning from 10:00am until the start of service, we have Fellowship Time. We welcome you to come and hang out, eat goodies, and build connections!  During this time, we provide delicious treats, coffee, and water.

Our ushers are absolutely key to making a Sunday morning service  happen at Life Church.  If you are a guest, feel free to ask one of our ushers a question and they can direct you to the appropriate ministry or person!

Front-line Prayer Team

Our Front-line Prayer Team focuses on hope, healing, and breakthrough for God's people. After service, they are available to pray for anyone, whether they need healing in their body, spiritual renewal or encouragement, financial breakthrough or salvation. The team is trained to bring words of life and encouragement in every situation.

Heaven to Earth

Prayer Chain

The Life Church Prayer Chain has been standing in the gap for members of our body and beyond for 20+ years.  The chain consists of faithful prayer warriors who are informed with each new prayer request coming in from the church Body; these people take time out of their day to bring these requests before the Father.  You can make a prayer request on Sundays using a Touch Card from the bulletin or by email or phone. The Prayer Chain is notified as soon as possible, and will pray for needs of any kind.

To submit a prayer request or become part of the Prayer Chain please contact us by email or phone:

We Believe in Prayer
Scripture tells us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thess. 5:17).  At Life Church, intercession is an indispensable part of how we operate.  In revival history, prayer is the fuel to ignite a city, a land, and its people toward God.  We know that God has called us, as His people, to pray, and that in any circumstance He hears us and is faithful to answer.
We have a few ways that we activate our community through prayer:
*Intercessory Prayer Group - A group that meets on Wednesday Nights.
This is a weeknight opportunity for people to come together in prayer. We meet from 7:00pm - 8:00pm, every Wednesday night, in the modulars. We are pray for the church (leaders and ministries), our city, and specific nations each time we gather.
*Front-line Prayer Team - This team that prays for people after service on Sundays. Their focus is hope, healing, and breakthrough for God's people. They are available whether they need healing in their body, spiritual renewal or encouragement, financial breakthrough, salvation for the soul, etc.

A ministry at Life Church was birthed with the mindset that we can join forces to bring life to those in greater need than ourselves. Our primary focus is to provide missionary support and encouragement to the nations. We coordinate and provide short term mission trips to help with humanitarian aid, building projects, and to bring encouragement to those on the mission field.
It is our vision to connect people from different churches, clubs, age groups, and backgrounds to form a cohesive team to demonstrate God's love and develop life-lasting relationships with those on the mission field.  In doing this, we are helping in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Matthew 28:18-20 - THEREFORE GO!
Who We Support: Who are we, as a church body, pouring into?  What ministries and people are we supporting financially and prayerfully as they bring the kingdom of heaven to earth?
The Poliakov Family

Nikolai and Tatyana Poliakov are members of Life Church yet travel extensively into Russia, helping to establish churches, support church leaders, and go into remote areas to share the Good News!  Nikolai and Tatyana were both born in Ukraine, and grew up in the Pentecostal underground church during the Soviet Union. In 1992, they began to minister in the easternmost part of Russia planting churches.
Today, they work with orphanages and prisons, and give humanitarian aid to needy people. The uniqueness of this work is a ministry to the tribal people: Koryaks, Evens, Itelmens, and Aleuts. These people live in the tundra area, and most of them are reindeer herders. Today there are churches even among the indigenous people groups. Nikolai and Tatyana have four children: Karolina, Nick, Sergei, and Andrew. This family has sown much into the Kingdom and bring great strength to our church body. Let's declare the goodness and blessing of God over them as they bring the love of Jesus into both Russia and the United States!
Brandon & Bethany Baird

Brandon and Bethany have been a wonderful and powerful addition to the Life Church body ever since they moved
to Salem from Astoria in 2005. They've been together since high school and were married in 2006. Both completed Life
School, and have been trained up to bring "real life" and the love of Christ  wherever they go. For years they have
felt a call to take the gospel to Mexico, and to live there as missionaries.
Since October of 2012, they have been serving in Mexico! They live in Guaymas, Sonora  and serve with many different ministries. Their main focus is with Kings Kids Orphanage. Besides being house parents to some amazing young boys, they teach English classes, manage media and newsletters, fix  and update computers & electronics and help with whatever other projects are going on.  Together, their mission is to bridge gaps, deepen relationships, and love on purpose.
Brandon & Bethany want to see unity in the Body of Christ; people experiencing real relationships with each other and with God; and never ending, unbiased love. Join us in supporting this amazing couple as they bring the love of Christ to Mexico! Learn more about Brandon & Bethany at their website.
Church Street Boxing

Pastor Mark Morrow's heart is to touch people with the truth of Jesus, not dead religion. During the week, Church Street Boxing in downtown Salem is open with the goal of helping people gain discipline and direction. Using boxing as a tool to reach people, he believes that faith and athleticism can teach the virtues, like determination that can help people find their purpose. On Sundays, Pastor Morrow leads SonRise Church at the same location. They welcome anyone who may feel uncomfortable in a traditional church. Check out their Facebook for additional information: Church Street Boxing
