The heart and focus of our Greeting Ministry is to help everyone that enters through our doors feel welcome, loved, and valued. At Life Church, we are first and foremost about family. Our greeters make it possible for everyone who walks in to feel like part of the family. Whether handing out bulletins, guiding children to Children's Church, or offering needed assistance, the greeters are an essential part of our team. They are the first faces you see when walking through the door!

Meet Our Greeting Director, Lorie Odegaard:
Lorie and her husband, Kelly, started attending Life Church shortly after their move to Salem in August of 1999, back when it was still called Willamette Christian Fellowship. When she started greeting several years ago, she felt like she found her niche! A few years ago, the current Greeting leader moved on, and she felt a tug on her heart to take on leadership of the ministry. Lorie's heart is really to make every single person who walks through the church doors feel welcome, at home, and among family. It brings joy to her heart! She and Kelly have two daughters: Elissa, who lives in Maryland, and Amanda, who lives only three blocks away from them!
Fun Facts: "I love road trips with my best friend, my husband, Kelly, especially our motorcycle trips. I so enjoy Oktoberfest time at Mt. Angel in September - visiting every food booth and sampling all the goodies. Quite simply, I love to eat!"
